Need an advanced site capable of selling products or services?  At Parcom we know it isn't easy to jump in and get the right set of services to do the job right.   Through years of experience we have come up with this checklist to assist you in setting up the perfect e-commerce web site solution. 

Services or Features Required:

• Parcom E-CommerceService Level - You must sign up for our $19.99 plan as the plans are designed to accommodate the higher end features your business deserves.
• SSL or Secure Socket Layer Service - This is a required service.  At Parcom we offer a service called "Quick SSL" and it provides you and your clients the advanced encryption needed to accept credit cards over the internet.   You may opt for the included "Shared SSL" if you wish.  For professional sites we highly recommend having your own certificate though.
• MS SQL Database - Although the use of Microsoft Access may be enough for some clients, we highly recommend the use of our Microsoft SQL database service if your custom shopping cart requires it.
• Enhanced Anti-Spam & Anti-Virus - A professional business cannot do without these services!  Protect you and your clients by requesting this service too.

If you prefer to build your own shopping cart or use a commercial solution please note that some software require special server side products on our systems.   We do not allow such products and do not recommend you use such a solution as there are far better shopping cart solutions that do not require any special software.  Consider visiting our knowledge base as we have a few recommended solutions and services there, too.
